History-Making All-Female Rowing Team on Sharks, Karaoke & More

Four female rowers made history last week when they arrived in Hawaii after rowing more than 2,400 miles from San Francisco, with no assistance!

Brooke Downes, who was a rower at USC, shared with Ryan Seacrest how she and her three teammates started the Great Pacific Race in June and arrived in Honolulu after rowing for 34 days, 14 hours and 11 minutes.

Brooke shared they'd take shifts and attempt to get some shut-eye, depending on the weather, but it was all worth it as they rowed for a great cause: the Anxiety and Depression Association of America.

So, did they see any sharks? And how did they keep themselves entertained?

Listen back to the full interview with Brooke for all the details on how they made it from California to Hawaii!
