Today Netflix tweeted that "Midnight Sun, an animated series adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's novel and the retelling of Twilight from Edward Cullen's perspective, is officially in development."
"Midnight Sun" was released back in August 2020 and it tells the story about Bella Swan and Edward Cullen's love story but this time it's through Edward's perspective and not Bella's. According to Variety, Sinead Daly will be a writer and executive producer on the series and Meyers will of course be apart of this project as an executive producer.
