As we know going to Target isn't just going to a store, it's a form of self care. When you're in a card swiping frenzy, things can add up pretty quick. Here's some must know hacks and warnings from ex-Target employees.
Tip 1: You don't need to buy multiples to cash in on a deal.
Former Target employee @maizimmy said in a TikTok that If you see a deal that is buy two for $5 "you don't always have to buy the two or multiple units to get the better deal. You can just buy one if that's all you want, and you can still get the discounted price on that single item."

Tip 2: Employees may be undercover
In a Reddit thread, several former Target security guards claimed that they operated as undercover shoppers. They can wear whatever they want so a shoplifter may not know that they are being watched by security.
Tip 3: Target employee ex-FBI and criminal justice specialists
As it turns out, this is printed right on Target's corporate website. They employ these specialists to assist on special cases that occur at their stores. So if you want to shoplift at Target - don't, they have a special set of skills, and they will find you.

Tip 4: You're probably missing out on savings
If you buy from the Cat & Jack clothing line, you have 365 days to return, no matter the condition. Current employee @missrhae stated on TikTok that she's saved almost $200 on kids clothing this way. Just make sure you have the receipt. If you use the Target Circle App, it'll be easier to find the barcodes for your returns.
