Lady Gaga proved herself once again as an ultimate professional after expertly handling an unexpected malfunction during her headlining set at Coachella.
After her raved-about set during the first weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Mother Monster took the stage yet again on Friday (April 18) but faced a unfortunate setback near the start of her performance while singing "Abracadabra," per People.
Gaga was in the middle of performing the track from her latest album Mayhem, using a headset microphone, when the mic glitched. Fortunately she quickly was given a handheld mic to continue the song, not missing a beat as she easily adjusted to the change to continue her performance.
The "Disease" singer was eventually given another headset microphone to better free up her hands for various props and choreography. She addressed the malfunction with the crowd later in her set.
"I'm sorry my mic was broken for a second. At least you know I sing live," she said with a laugh, adding, "I guess all we can do is our best and I'm certainly giving you my best tonight."
Gaga first took the stage on April 11 during the first weekend of Coachella 2025 for a set that included a surprise guest and the premiere of a brand new remix of one of her latest hits.
