Adele and her fiancé, Rich Paul, attended the Los Angeles Lakers game on Saturday (April 19) amid the star's ongoing music hiatus.
According to Page Six, the couple seemingly enjoyed their court-side date night despite the Lakers losing 95 to 117. Their rare appearance arrives less than a year after the "Skyfall" songstress told fans she needed a break from music "indefinitely."
"In I will not see you for an incredibly long time, and I will hold you dear in my heart for that whole length of my break," Adele assured concertgoers last September during a Vegas residency show (per E!News).
"I've really enjoyed performing. It's been three years now, which is the longest I've done and probably the longest I'll ever do. I have spent the last seven years building a new life for myself, and I want to live it now. I want to live my life that I've been building, and I will miss you terribly."
Six months before her residency concluded, the "Someone Like You" songstress told fans that she wanted a "big break" to "do other creative things, just for a little while." In May 2024, Adele revealed that she wanted to have another baby.
"I want a girl because I’ve already got a boy. I feel like she might be like the person I love the most in the world but also probably hate the most in the world. That is what I feel will happen. She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she? With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she’s going to be a bossy little queen, isn’t she?"
