Peter Weber Admits He Would’ve Chosen Hannah B. Over Being ‘The Bachelor’

ABC's "The Bachelor" - Season 24

Is Peter Weber not over Hannah B.? The season 24 Bachelor phoned into On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Thursday, January 9, and dished in a candid, tell-all interview with Ryan Seacrest, revealing he would have forgone the opportunity to be The Bachelor had he been given a second chance with the former Bachelorette.

#BachelorNation was shocked during the season 24 premiere on Monday when Hannah B. returned to the mansion. As fans will remember, the DWTS winner ended up choosing Jed over runner-ups Peter and Tyler C. During the After the Final Rose special, Hannah B. then asked Tyler C. for a second chance after calling things off with Jed. The duo briefly reconnected before Tyler C.’s fling with model Gigi Hadid. Hannah returned during the season 24 premiere with Peter to give him his wings back and find closure only to end up in tears.

“My jaw was like on the ground when I first realized it was her coming out of the limo,” Peter recalled to Seacrest. “Her gesture was amazing; I really respected that. She didn’t have to give me the wings back so I appreciated that but honestly I thought she was going to ask to come in, I did,” he added. “Obviously that wasn’t the case, but a little bit of me was kind of hoping for it.”

Fans were left with a cliffhanger that now has viewers wondering if things aren’t over for the exes.

Seacrest then asked Peter a fan-submitted question on-air regarding the former Bachelorette which now adds to our speculation ...

Fan Sam asked: “If Hannah B. asked you out on After the Final Rose instead of Tyler, would you have said yes and gave up being The Bachelor?"

“You guys are going to think I’m crazy,” Peter prefaced, “But, yeah. I would have said yes and probably would’ve forgone — I wouldn’t have been The Bachelor if she had done that,” he admitted. “Obviously it didn’t happen and I want to put that moment and everything behind me, but in that moment, I would have said yes.”

While the 27-year-old pilot claims following reality he’s since moved on and embraced the next chapter, fans are still speculating the Los Angeles native and Hannah B.’s journey isn’t over.

“I can definitely say I’m very happy now and it was a crazy experience in my life — very hard — but very beautiful at the same time,” Peter concluded. “And I loved it.”
