Dolly Parton Responds To Lil Nas X's Invite For 'Old Town Road' Remix

Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" is the hit that keeps on giving.

After multiple remixes, as well as a leaked rendition with Lil Wayne, the budding rapper wants to see if he can snag the one and only Dolly Parton for a new mix. "Y'all think i can get dolly parton and megan thee stallion on a old town road remix?" he asked his Twitter follower and the 20-year-old chart-topper certainly received a response, specifically a comedic one from the country titan. In her response, Parton shared a graphic of three horses (similar to the track's official artwork), but the singer's artwork features one striking pink horse besides the two horses that represent the rapper and Billy Ray Cyrus.

"Old Town Road" is still holding strong atop the Billboard Hot 100 and is just one week away from tying the all-time record for the longest record to stay on top of the renowned chart. If it hits one more week at the No. 1 position, the smash will sit nicely next to two of the other chart-holders: Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito" featuring Justin Bieber and Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men's "One Sweet Day."

Simultaneously, Lil Nas X is pushing forward with a new single. If you're following him on Instagram, you noticed that he shared a behind-the-scenes photo of him in wardrobe for his "Panini" music video. Click here for more on that.
