2018 Golden Globes: Mary J Blige, Mariah Carey, More Receive Nominations

Some of your favorite chart-toppers will likely hit the red carpet at the 2018 Golden Globes as songs by Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Nick Jonas, and Miguel have all been nominated in the Best Original Song category, which was announced along with the rest of the nominations on Monday morning (December 11).

In the race for the award, Blige will face off with Mudbound's "Mighty River," which she co-wrote alongside Raphael Saadiq and Taura Stinson, against Nick Jonas' "Home" (from Ferdiand), Mariah Carey's "The Star" (from The Star), Miguel and Natalie Lafourcade's "Remember Me" (from Coco) and Keala Settle's "This Is Me" (from The Greatest Showman). 

Elsewhere in the nomination list, Hans Zimmer (Dunkirk), John Williams (The Post) and Carter Burwell (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Alexandre Desplat (The Shape of Water) and Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood (Phantom Thread) will go head-to-head in the Best Original Score - Motion Picture face-off.
