Leighton Meester channeled the legendary Stevie Nicks when she delivered a bewitching performance of Fleetwood Mac‘s soft-rock classic, “Dreams,” for an acoustic music video that dropped on Wednesday.
The former Gossip Girl actress — joined by Dana Williams, who is currently a contestant on RyanSeacrest.com‘s best cover contest for Lorde‘s “Team” — sits poolside while she strums her six-string guitar and flexes her vulnerable vocals.
In the past, the 27-year-old has unveiled her twangy chops when she performed “Summer Girl” and “Words I Couldn’t Say” on Country Strong. Leighton has also teamed up with pop star Robin Thicke for her 2009 track, “Somebody to Love.”
What are your thoughts on the duo’s Fleetwood Mac cover?
