Along the Ventura County coastline gallons of sewage spill into the ocean triggering warnings to beach-goers.
A power outage on Sunday which affected a treatment plant in Oxnard is to blame for the spill. The possible health hazards from the spill have some worried of whats to come. Workers from the plant posted notices at places like Ormond Beach in Oxnard and Hueneme Beach Park in Port Hueneme.
It is said that shellfish could have been exposed to the sewage and shouldn't be eaten. Visitors, swimmers and surfers at these beaches and around the area are urged to not go into the water.
